Alenbratt Sets Personal Best At NCAAs

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (SMU) - SMU Mustangs senior Mary Alenbratt set a new personal best 6K time as she finished her NCAA cross country career on Saturday at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.

Alenbratt, SMU's lone senior in 2012, finished the event in 20:52.9, placing her 115th out of 253 runners competing.

The native of Bohus, Sweden had a very successful senior season, helping guide SMU to a fourth Conference USA title in five seasons. Alenbratt placed second at the C-USA Championships and eighth at the NCAA South Central Regionals, earning her an individual bid to the NCAAs.
