DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU volleyball program released its spring competition schedule Monday, which includes two matches in Moody Coliseum. The Mustangs will begin the spring slate at the College Challenge in Houston, Texas, at the Reliant Center on April 5th, and conclude the offseason schedule at home against Baylor on April 26 at 11 a.m.

SMU will compete in the College Tournament at UT-Arlington on April 12, and a Thursday night match against rival TCU on April 17 in Moody Coliseum at 5:30 highlights the schedule. The Mustangs will face Oklahoma, former Conference USA-rival Rice, Houston and Stephen F. Austin at the College Challenge in Houston, while opponents for the tournament at UTA have yet to be determined.

Home matches are open to the public, and there is no charge for admission. The Mustangs will be playing both home matches in the newly-renovated Moody Coliseum after playing the 2013 season in the Dedman Center on campus.

The Mustangs return five of six starters and the libero from last season, including American Athletic Conference Setter of the Year, Avery Acker. Acker, Caroline Young and Janelle Giordano were All-American Athletic Conference First Team selections, with Abbey Bybel and Cailin Bula earning second team honors after leading the Mustangs to a 22-9 record and a second-place finish in The American with a 14-4 record.
