Becca Ellinor is in her first season as a manager for SMU Volleyball after two years as an outside hitter for the Mustangs. She played in eight matches as an outside hitter during her freshman and sophomore seasons. Her career highlights included five kills and two blocks at UAB Oct. 19, 2008.

2008 (So.): Played in four matches, recording nine kills, three digs, and two blocks...Game Highlights: Totaled five kills and two blocks at UAB (10/19)...Had three kills, a dig, and a block against Prairie View (8/30).

2007 (Fr.): Played in six games, contributing three kills and a block assist... Game Highlights: Played in two games at Tulsa (10/19)... Played in one game against Holy Cross (9/15)... Competed in two games against Prairie View A&M, contributing two kills and one block assist (9/8).

Prep: Three-year letterwinner and senior co-captain at Union High School in Tulsa ... named to All-Frontier Valley Conference first team her senior year ... also selected first-team Oklahoma Coaches' Association All-State, Volleyball in 2006... honored with All-Tournament team selections in the Edmond Santa Fe High School Tournament and the Stillwater High School Tournament her senior year ... selected to Oklahoma Coaches' Association All-State second-team in 11th grade... played club volleyball for Tulsa Volleyball Club 18-1, where she served as team captain her senior year... Prep Academic Honors: Selected to Frontier Valley Conference All-Academic team ... graduated in top 3% of her class ... member of National Honor Society ... received academic awards in recognition of excellence in history, English and Spanish.

Personal: Born in May 1989... daughter of Dan and Andrea Ellinor... brother, Ben, was a rower at Davidson College... started playing volleyball in fourth grade ... plans to major in Business at SMU, with anticipated minors in Spanish and Art History.
