2011 Texas Relays Results

AUSTIN, Texas (SMU) --- AUSTIN, Texas (SMU) --- The No. 17 SMU track and field team had several athletes compete in the Texas Relays hosted by the University of Texas this weekend.

Lisa Egarter competed in the heptathlon and posted several impressive marks including a 1.76 meter high jump (second place in the event). The freshman finished with 5,116 cumulative points. Simone Du Toit, one of the top throwers in the nation, notched a 51.60 meter mark in the discus.

In the sprints, junior Amber Evans registered an 11.84 in the 100 meter dash and Egheosa Osawemwenze recorded a 400 meter hurdle time of 1:03.03.

The Mustangs return to the track next weekend at the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif.
