SMU Claims Three Individual Titles on Day Two of The American Championships

SMU Leads The Championships With 108 Points Heading Into Day Three

2014 (Fr.): Indoor: Placed third in the shot put with a mark of 14.04 meters at the Red Raider Invitational... Captured ninth place in the shot put at the Iowa State Classic with a mark of 14.20 meters... Outdoor: American Athletic Conference: Finished fifth in the discus (48.20m) and sixth in the shot put (15.00m) as she helped SMU win the programs first indoor conference championship in school history... Placed second in the shot put (14.52m) and eighth in the discus (45.10m) at the Texas Tech Open... Finished second in the shot put (14.80m) and sixth in the discus (43.10m) at the Texas Invitational.

Prior to SMU: Four-year letter winner at Waxahachie High School... Placed fourth as a senior at the Texas high school state championships.

Personal: Daughter of Kevin Nlemchi... Has an older brother, K.C. Nlemchi who plays football for the Mustangs... Majoring in business administration... Member of the National French Honor Society during high school academic career.
