Rayann Chin Notches The Top Mark In The AAC In The Weight Throw

2014 (Fr.): Indoor: American Athletic Conference: Was a member of the women's distance medley (Holly Archer, Hannah Moss, Karoline Skatteboe) that placed third (11:44.78) as that group helped SMU win the programs first indoor conference championship in school history... Placed 13th in the 800-meter run (2:25.44) and 15th in the one mile run (5:34.95) as she competed in her first meet as a Mustang at the Red Raider Invitational... Outdoor: American Athletic Conference: Placed 21st in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:19.10 as she helped SMU win the programs first outdoor conference championship in school history... Placed sixth and set a personal-best time in the 800-meter dash at the Michael Johnson Invitational with a time of 2:18.99... HONORS: All-American Athletic Conference Indoor (women's distance medley, 3rd).

Prior to SMU: Contributed to her team winning the Arizona cross country state championship all four of her years at Xavier College Preparatory... Earned the Outstanding Student-Athlete award during each of her four years.

Personal: Anticipated business administration and engineering major... Parents are Michael and Anna... Has two younger sisters and one older brother.
