2008 (Track and Field): Indoor: Took fifth in the 3,000m run at the J.D. Martin Invite; Outdoor: Won the 1,500m at the UNT Classic; 2007 (Track and Field): Indoor: Competed in the Iowa State Classic and notched a 17th place finish in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 17:39.72... Also competed in the Conference USA Championships finishing eighth in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 17:36.02; 2006 (Cross Country): Recipient of 2006 NCAA All-American honors with a 35th-place finish at the NCAA Championships, posting a time of 21:24.5... 2006 NCAA South Central Regional Athlete of the Year after placing first in the Regional with a time of 20:30.4... 2006 Conference USA individual champion (17:14.54) and earned All-Conference USA first team honors after placing first in the league's championship meet, running the event in a time of 17:14.54...
