SDSU Day One Results Get Acrobat Reader

SAN DIEGO (SMU) --- No. 34 Edyta Cieplucha and Hristina Dishkova advanced in singles at the San Diego State Classic on Friday. Cieplucha also partnered with Elena Fayner to win in doubles.

Cieplucha dominated in a 6-3, 6-0 win against Susan McRann of Arizona. She faces Grace Ysidora of Washington in the semifinals on Saturday. Hristina Dishkova also won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3 over Maria Jose-Cardona of Kansas. Dishkova meets Elianne Douglas-Miron of Washington on Saturday.

Cieplucha and Elena Fayner also advanced in doubles with a 9-7 victory against Irina Constantinide and Yuiri Nomonto of Middle Tennessee. The SMU duo faces Paulina Los and Claire Dreyer of Kansas on Saturday.
