With an 18-4 overall record in doubles, Bubien is in the record book as she is in a three-way tie for eighth place in most season victories and are in fourth place with.818 winning percentage... Played most of season at No. 1 singles with 11-8 record in dual meets... Strung together three consecutive singles wins at No. 1 to start season... In doubles, took win over top-50 pair from Troy... In helping guide the Mustangs to wins over ranked Troy and Louisville, was named C-USA Player of the Week (2/6).
Fall of 2006: Competed in the Gold Draw at the Baylor Invite defeating Christine Dao of Rice and then Karine Ionesco of TCU before falling to top 20 singles player, Zuzana Cerna of Baylor, in the quarterfinals... Went 1-1 in the doubles Gold Draw of the Baylor Invitational... Qualified to compete in the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships... Went 2-1 in Blue Singles of Rice Invite, defeating Tiffany Lee of Rice to advance to semifinal round... Advanced to the sweet 16 round at ITA Regionals.
2005-06 (Fr.): Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal Winner... Played most of the season and No. 1 and No. 2 in singles and No. 1 at doubles... Posted five-match win streak in doubles with former Mustang Svetlana Kouzmenko near end of season... Helped guide team to second-place finish at C-USA Championship... Defeated singles opponent from UCF in first match and paired with Kouzmenko to help clinch doubles point against UCF to help the Mustangs advance in C-USA Championship.
Previous Playing Experience: Held the No. 1 national ranking in Poland in both 12's and 14's... Held a top-five national ranking in 16's and 18's as a junior player...
