Liz Pike Takes Seventh in Three-Meter

Austin, Texas (SMU) - Senior Liz Pike finished in seventh place in the three-meter diving competition at the 2004 UT Invite on Thursday. She scored a 273.90 in the preliminary round, followed by a 458.20 in the finals. Pike?s score in the final round was a new season best.

Kristin Schild and Christina Hussong also competed on Thursday. Schild recorded a score of 234.60 in the prelims and 397.40 in the semi-finals, but did not make the final round. Hussong recorded a 170.80 in the prelims.

The SMU diving team will see action again on Friday in the one-meter competition.
