DALLAS (SMU) - SMU women's swimmers had much success around the globe today as Nina Rangelova, Isabella Arcila and Marne Erasmus continued competition.

At the Bulgarian National Championships, Rangelova posted three gold-medal performances. In the 200-meter freestyle, Rangelova clocked in at 2:00.12 outpacing her closest competitor by over nine seconds. The 100-meter butterfly saw her post a 1:01.78 and, as part of the 4x100-meter medley relay, she helped her team clock in at 4:34.29. The second-place relay squad touched the wall in 4:44.19.

In qualification for finals of the 200-meter backstroke in Colombia, Arcila earned the top spot to move on.

The final update comes from the Commonwealth Games in Scotland where Erasmus is representing South Africa. Erasmus reached the semifinals of the 50-meter butterfly after posting a 27.45. Tara-Lynn Nicholas is scheduled to swim the 100-meter breaststroke at the event still, while the pair are listed as members of the 4x100-meter medley relay team.
