Eight Mustangs Headed To NCAA Championships

DALLAS (SMU) - Eight SMU women's swimmers have qualified for the NCAA Championships March 15-17 in Auburn, Ala. The Mustangs are ranked No. 13 in the country and won the 2012 Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championship two weeks ago.

Senior Therese Svendsen leads all Mustangs, qualifying for six events. Joining Svendsen are Isabella Arcila (three events), Monika Babok (one event), Erica Donadon (two events) Genny Konicke (five events), Rachel Nicol (one event), Nina Rangelova (four events) and Denisa Smolenova (one event).
