Eight Mustangs Headed To NCAA Championships

ALL-AMERICAN

2011-12 (Sr.): NCAA Championship: Finished 35th in the 50-yard freestyle, tied for 41st in the 100-yard butterfly and was a member of the eighth-place 200-yard freestyle relay, 11th place 400-yard freestyle relay, 12th place 200-yard medley relay team and 16th place 400-yard medley relay team 3/15-17 at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships... Finished 19th in the 50-meter freestyle 3/9-11 at the Columbus Grand Prix... Conference USA Championship: Set a meet record in the 100-yard butterfly, tied teammate Nina Rangelova for top honors in the 100-yard freestyle, placed second in the 100-yard backstroke, and was a member of the winning and meet record-setting 200-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay squads 2/15-18 at the Conference USA Championships... Was a member of the winning 200-yard medley relay and second-place freestyle relay squads 2/4 at Texas... Was a member of the first-place 200-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay teams 1/25 at TCU... Was a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay teams 1/21 at Houston... Was a member of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay squad and second-place 200-yard medley relay team 1/12 at No. 10 Texas A&M... Earned a pair of runner-up finishes in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard freestyle, was third in the 100-yard backstroke, placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle, and was a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team and third-place 400-yard freestyle relay squad 12/15-18 at the Chesapeake Elite Meet... Won the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke, was second in the 100-yard freestyle, placed third in the 50-yard freestyle, and was a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay, the first-place 200-yard medley relay, the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay, the first-place 800-yard freestyle relay and the second-place 400-yard medley relay teams 11/17-19 at the Cougar Classic... Was a member of the second place 200-yard medley relay and the third-place 400-yard medley relay teams 10/21-22 in the SMU Classic... Took first in the 50-yard freestyle, and was a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay teams 10/15 at Rice.

2010-11 (Jr.): NCAA Championship: Finished 44th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.03 at the NCAA Championship... Was a member of the gold-medal 400-yard Medley Relay team and individually took second place in the 50-yard Freestyle (24.12) and in the 100-yard Butterfly (57.13) against Houston on 10/23... Helped the 300-yard Fly Relay team, the 400-yard Free Relay team and the 200-yard Free Relay team all win first place at the North Texas Relays on 10/8... Konicke claimed first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.56.
