SMU To Travel To Stephen F. Austin For First Spring Game Of 2014

DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU Mustangs will play their first game of the 2014 spring season at Stephen F. Austin on Sunday at the SFA Soccer Field in Nacogdoches, Texas. Game time is slated for 2 p.m. CT.

SMU will then head back to Dallas for two home games, beginning with a match versus Texas State on Saturday, April 5 at Westcott Field. The Mustangs will then host Oklahoma State on Saturday, April 12, before heading out for the final spring game on Friday, April 18 at North Texas.

The Mustangs return eight starters from last season’s squad, including all-conference honorees Shelby Redman, Rikki Clarke and Taylor Barg. SMU went 9-9-1 last season.

Stephen F. Austin won its third straight Southland Conference title last season with a 16-3-3 record.
