DALLAS (SMU) - SMU rowing head coach Doug Wright announced the addition of Rebekah Tate and Jacqueline Stoner to the 2012-13 signing class. The duo joins Miranda Zsigmond, Loni Alrecht, Phoebe Cady, Madison Davidson and Nikole Metz, who signed National Letters of Intent in November 2011.

Tate, a native of Plano, Texas and graduate of John Paul II High School, was a team captain on the basketball team and member of the National Honor Society. Stoner earned a spot on the varsity crew at the Northern California Crew club. The Menlo Park, Calif., native also played volleyball at Menlo-Atherton High School.

"I am very excited with the seven athletes we have signed for next fall," Wright said of the signing class. "All of them are very talented, have great character and a strong work ethic. They are a great group that we expect to have an immediate impact on our team speed next fall."
