<2010-2011: Placed first in the Novice 8+ at the Head of the Oklahoma with a time of 15:00:646.

Prep: Member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society and the National German Honor Society... high school coach was Ed Moran... took 3rd place at Scholastic Nationals in the freshman eight in 2007... 1st place in 2008 at the King's Head Regatta in the varsity single... 1st place at Scholastic Nationals in the junior four in 2008... took 2nd place at the Mercer Sprints in 2009 in the lightweight four... placed 4th in the varsity four at the New Jersey State Championship in 2009... also ran cross country... rowed for the South Jersey Rowing Club under coach Joe Sullivan... competed at the Royal Canadian Henley in 2007, 2008, 2009... placed 5th in 2008 in the junior B four... took 2nd in 2010 at the Mid-Atlantic Championship in the varsity single.

Personal: Chose SMU becuase of the great academics to prepare for medical school... intended major is Applied Physiology & Enterprise... great uncle Ed Koontz played in the NFL for the Boston Patriots 1967-1968... born in Camden N.J.... daughter of Michael and Jennifer Koontz... has one sister, Christina.
