Huber, a former Mustang rower, returns to the Hilltop after spending the past two years coaching runners for Fleet Feet Sports in Sacramento, California. As a running coach, she developed training programs for 5K through marathon distance athletes and taught beginning runners about proper running form, pacing, injury prevention, and hydration & nutrition.
Huber's rowing career began in 1999 as a member of SMU's inaugural varsity rowing squad under coaches Kerry O'Keefe and Doug Wright. She was a member of the Mustang Lightweight Four that finished third at the 2000 Midwest Rowing Championships, earning the program's first varsity medals. A four-year SMU Rower, Huber alternated between the first and second varsity eights and served as a senior co-captain in 2002-03. Following graduation she spent the summer teaching learn-to-row sessions to local high school students on White Rock Lake.
In May 2003, Huber earned her Bachelor's of Business Administration in financial consulting, with a minor in art history, from SMU's Cox School of Business.
