Women's Golf in 16th Place After Two Rounds of the Mason Rudolph Women's Champions

Franklin, Tenn. - The SMU women's golf team shot a second-round total of 301 and are currently in 16th place at the Mason Rudolph Women's Champions tournament held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn. The Mustangs post a 36-hole total of 606 while the 18-team field is still led by UCLA with a two-round total of 577.

Top scorer for SMU remains to be Laura Cross who is tied for 15th with a two-round total of 147. Kristina Rothengatte shot a second-round score of 76 and is tied for 41st place. Other SMU scorers include Jennifer Ackerson (76-76=152), Lacey Jones (87-74=161) and Ashley Deatherage (82-82=164).

The final round takes place on Sunday.
