The team leaves this upcoming Wednesday for College Station to compete in Texas A&M's "MoMorial" tournament held at Traditions Golf Club. We have all been practicing hard, improving our weaknesses and perfecting our strengths. As I am writing this installment of Chip Shots I am looking over the course's yardage book and my notes from past years. I can honestly say that Traditions is a true test of golf. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, every hazard, tree, and sand bunker is strategically placed, demanding almost perfect golf shots! This is definitely a course a player must play for par and just let birdies happen.

Unfortunately we will be traveling without junior standout Kate Ackerson. She injured herself in Tampa and will be out indefinitely. We are a little deeper in depth this year and we will all play our best to make up for her.
