DALLAS (SMU) - The third round of the Dallas Athletic Club/SMU Invitational was scratched 45 minutes into the round on Sunday morning due to lightning in the Dallas area.

After an hour delay prior to the first tee shot of the day due to lightning, players got up to three holes in, before the horn sounded again to halt play.

The Mustangs finished their lone home tournament in eighth at 37-over through two rounds. Baylor finished atop the team leaderboard, winning the 36-hole tournament by four strokes.

Sophomore Jenny Haglund led SMU with a 14th-place finish, tallying a six-over 150 through two rounds. Read the full recap of the second round here.

SMU will have exactly two weeks off before beginning play Sunday, April 20, in the inaugural American Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship. The three day, three round event will be played in Orlando, Fla.
