Mustangs Finish Fourth at A&M Show

College Station, Texas (SMU)- The SMU Equestrian team finished fourth at the Texas A&M Invite. The team earned 19 points to best eleven teams in the meet.

Ashley Lewis was named the Reserve High Point Rider of the show.

Katie Kotchka finished third in the open fences (section II) competition. Teammate Antonia Stubbe finished sixth in the open fences (section III) competition. Kotchka also finished third in the open flat (section I) event. Stubbe finished sixth in the open flat (section II) event. Catherine McQuown placed sixth in the open flat (section III) event.

Kristen Boyert finished fourth in the intermediate fences event. Lauren O'Neill took second in the novice fences (section I), and Ashley Lewis finished first in the novice fences (section II) competition. Lewis also took second in the intermediate flat (section I). Boyert finished first in the intermediate flat (section II) competition.

Christine Isaacs placed fourth in the novice flat (section III). Danielle Hartle placed sixth in the advanced walk-trot-canter (section I) event.

The Mustang equestrian team next competes Saturday, December 4, at the OSU Western Show.
