DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU equestrian team will conclude its first home stretch of the 2013-14 season by hosting NCEA preseason No. 10 University of Tennessee at Martin on Sunday at 10 a.m. CT at BuckBranch Farm.

SMU is coming off a 10-9 victory over New Mexico State on Thursday, the program’s first win with the addition of a western team. The Mustangs had six freshmen debut on Thursday for interim head coach Natalie Burton’s squad, as the rookie class accounted for five of SMU’s 10 points.

UT-Martin will be competing in the Willis Invitational in Waco, Texas, before making the trip to Dallas.

The Mustangs will have nearly a week off before taking on South Carolina (10 a.m.) and Delaware State (3 p.m.) as part of a double header on Saturday Oct. 5 in Dover, Del.
