SANTA FE, N.M. (SMU) --- SMU Equestrian riders Kristen Boyert, Lauren O誰eil, and Chelsea Stevens rode in the Varsity National Championships at the Santa Fe Horse Park in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Saturday. O誰eil participated in two events, finishing eighth in Hunt Seat Equitation on the Flat #4 and also getting eighth in the Hunt Seat Equitation over Fences #4. Boyert took eighth in Hunt Seat Equitation on the Flat #3 and Stevens rode to an eighth place finish in Hunt Seat Equitation over Fences #3.
On Friday, Ashley Lewis finished seventh in Fences #2. Lewis finished eight in her first ride, which was Flat #2. Katie Kotchka took the eighth spot in both Fences #1 and Flat #1.
