MARTIN, Tenn. - The No. 10 SMU equestrian team fell to UT-Martin (11-8) and Kansas State (13-6) this weekend, sending its overall record to 3-5 one competition shy of its winter break.

In its competition against UT-Martin, the Mustangs' hunter seat team was led by MOP honors from freshman Julia Fowler (flat) and sophomore Schaefer Raposa (fences). The flat lineup's other point came from Addie Audette's collegiate debut, while its other fences point came as a result of an 81-point performance by freshman Sylvia de Toledo.

On the western side against UT-Martin, junior Courtney Line and freshman Hannah McCain gave the Mustangs a pair of horsemanship points, while the program's two reining points came from rookie classmates Jaclyn White and Morgan Redwine.

Against Kansas State, De Toledo was the highlight of the competition, earning MOP honors on fences. Senior Julianna Fischer and Raposa earned a pair of points to give the Mustangs their only event win on the weekend. SMU's other hunter seat point against Kansas State came from sophomore Mary Abbruzzese.

White (horsemanship) and Line (reining) grabbed the two western points for the Mustangs against Kansas State.

SMU will wrap-up the fall portion of its schedule when it hosts No. 2 Auburn on Nov. 23 at BuckBranch Farm at 10 a.m. CT.
