Freshman Schaefer Raposa named MVP over fences

2013-14 (Jr.) - Inked a 3-2 mark on flat, including an MOP win over Tennessee-Martin on Sept. 29...Averaged a 77.6 on flat for the season.

2012-13 (So.) - Made two official appearances over fences and 11 appearances in SMU's flat lineup...Earned five flat victories on the season, including a regular season-high 95 points against LSU.

2011-12 (Redshirt): Enrolled in January 2012... Redshirted.

Prep: Competed in Europe and Canada (Spruce Meadows)... Was a member of the Zone 4 team at NAJYRC 2009-11 and competed in Zone 3 at the Prix de States in 2009. Personal: Anticipated sports management major... Chose SMU for its beautiful campus, equestrian team and she has family friends who live in Dallas... Enjoys photography and riding horses... Lists Mclain Ward as her favorite athlete... Parents are Steve Johnson and Kim Nicewonder... Father played in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots...
