DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU athletics department has announced a flex plan for women's basketball tickets. Fans can purchase the flex-plan for $50, which includes a single ticket to the Feb. 25 game against defending national champion Connecticut in Moody Coliseum. The plan also includes eight other tickets which can be used in any combination for any other SMU women's basketball game or games.
The Mustangs return four starters and five seniors from last season's team, which went 21-10 and won the regular-season conference championship with a 12-4 record. Keena Mays was named Conference Player of the Year after averaging 18.4 points per game with 88 assists and 57 steals in 23 games. The senior was selected to the American Athletic Conference All-Preseason Team this season.
