High School:




Junior (2004-05): Only Mustang to start all 30 games this season...averaged 8.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game...SMU's leading assist leader...totaled team-high assist numbers in 23 games this season...posts three 10+rebound games and two double-doubles...game's leading rebounder six times...her 143 assists this season ranks fourth on the SMU individual season records list...currently fourth on SMU's all-time career assist list...her career-high seven steals vs. Maine (11/21) is a team-high mark...her 10 assists at Fresno State tied a career-high mark...in league games, ranks second in assist/turnover ratio, fourth in assists, third in steals, and sixth in defensive rebounds....averages a team-high 32.3 minutes per game...selected to the DU Wells Fargo All-Classic team...earned the team's Mustang Award at the season-ending banquet.

Sophomore (2003-04): One of two players to start all 28 games...led the Mustangs in steals (55) and assists (131)...posted a career-high 19 rebounds (all defensive) at Tulsa...her 19 rebounds was the third-best individual mark in SMU history...averaged a team-high 31.8 minutes of playing time per game...second in the WAC in defensive rebounds and assist/turnover ratio.

Freshman (2002-03): Saw action in all 31 games, including 14 starts...team leader in steals with 43 and second in assists with 86...her 10 assists vs. Tulsa (1/25/03) broke a 20-year freshman game record...averaged nearly 4.0 points and 24 minutes per game

High School: Four-year starter at DeSoto High School...also served as team captain...four-time All-District selection...named to the 2001 All-Region team...selected to the TGCA and the Texas Basketball All-State teams as a senior...a 2002 McDonald's All-America nominee...member of the 2001 SWAAU Regional All-Tournament team...as a senior, was named team MVP, Offensive Player of the Year and recipient of the Good Hands Award (steals/assists/turnovers)...high school team won three bi-district championships as well as two area championships...team was a Region I finalist in 2001...career record while at DeSoto was 102 wins and 35 losses...averaged 13.5 points, five steals, five assists, two blocks and six rebounds per game...played in the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star Game this past July...also played volleyball in high school...member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society

Personal: Majoring in sociology...career goals include the WNBA...listens to rhythm and blues music...favorite food is chicken and shrimp lo mein...would most like to visit the Bahamas...favorite non-basketball athlete is Marion Jones...favorite TV show is "Living Single"...former high school teammate of current Mustang Shonte Roberts...has eight brothers and sisters...parents are Ken Shead and Gwen Sweet.
