TULSA, Okla. (SMU) - Three SMU Mustangs will continue play today at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.

Arturs Kazijevs will play in the second round of consolation singles after defeating No. 76 Ace Matias of UNLV in the first round late on Wednesday. Kazijevs fell in the first round of the singles main draw to No. 26 Fred Saba of Duke after winning the first set 6-3. Saba rebounded and won the final two sets 7-5, 6-3.

"To come back and play another tough match against a ranked opponent and play six sets of tough tennis and win shows our fitness is really working," SMU Head Coach Carl Neufeld said.

Nate Lammons and Alex Sanders will play 10th-ranked Ross Guignon and Tim Kopinski of Illinois in the first round of consolation doubles today. Lammons and Sanders fell to No. 57 Gordon Watson and Elliott Orkin of Florida in the first round of the doubles main draw yesterday. SMU's pair won their first six matches of the season, including four in this tournament.
