Tulsa (SMU) - After the first day of action in the Tulsa Hurricane Invite, the SMU men?s tennis team had some success and will have representation on day two. Elliot Engberg picked up a win in singles in Fight C over Andrei Radulescu of Texas 6-4, 6-3, to advance to second round play on Saturday.

In other singles action, SMU?s other entry, Paul McNaughton, dropped a hard fought match to Jason Mok of Rice 6-2, 7-5. McNaughton was competing in singles Flight B.

Engberg was not as successful, however, later in the day in doubles, as he and McNaughton were defeated by the pair of Gubser/Chodkiewicz (Texas) 8-2.
