Flood Selected To C-USA All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas (C-USA/SMU) – SMU junior Tobias Flood was named to the 2012 Conference USA Men’s Tennis All-Academic Team, per the conference office’s announcement today. Flood was one of two repeat selections to the academic squad. The junior from Stabekk, Norway is a three-time C-USA Academic Medal winner and C-USA Honor Roll member. Flood, an economics major with an applied finance concentration, holds a 3.81 GPA and has posted a 12-7 doubles record for the Mustangs. 

Honorees must hold a minimum 3.2 GPA and have competed in at least 75 percent of their team's scheduled matches. All six of this year's selections boast academic marks better than 3.50. 

The SMU men’s tennis team plays Rice on Friday at 4 p.m. CT, in the quarterfinals of the C-USA Men’s Tennis Championship.
