Mustangs Drop 4-3 Decision to Tulsa in Men's Tennis

DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU men?s tennis team dropped a close 4-3 decision to Tulsa Friday at Haggar Tennis Stadium on the campus of SMU. With the loss, SMU extends its winless streak to three matches and falls to 10-9 on the season. Tulsa improves to 13-8 this year.

After easily winning the #3 doubles match, SMU had to battle back in both the #1 and #2 doubles matches to claim the team point for the Mustangs.

SMU won singles matches at #4 and #5 vs. the Golden Hurricane. Tulsa clinched the match point at the #6 singles match when Diego Camacho won a three-set decision over SMU?s David Kuczer, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

SMU looks to bounce back with a home contest Sunday as Notre Dame visits Haggar Tennis Stadium. The match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. noon.
