SMU's Run Ends At ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. (SMU) - After strong runs in singles and doubles, SMU's last competitors at the ITA All-American Championships fell on Thursday in Tulsa, Okla.

Arturs Kazijevs won the first set in his match against No. 26 Fred Saba of Duke, 6-3. Saba rebounded to win the next two sets 7-5, 6-3.

Nate Lammons and Alex Sanders lost their first match of the season in their first round match, 8-5, to No. 57 Gordon Watson and Elliott Orkin of Florida. Lammons and Sanders started the season 6-0 in their first matches as a pair.

SMU will compete next at the Collin County Invitational in Plano, Texas, on Oct. 11.
