WACO, Texas (SMU) - The SMU Mustangs fell to 0-4 on the season with a 7-0 loss at Baylor on Friday, in the Bears' grand opening of their Jim and Nell Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.

SMU's Arturs Kazijevs, ranked No. 83 in the nation, played in the first spot for the Mustangs for the fourth time in four matches this spring, and fell in straight sets to No. 60 Mate Zsiga, 6-0; 6-2. Alex Sanders assumed the second spot for SMU with the absence of Gaston Cuadranti, and fell to No. 50 Marko Krickovic, 7-6 (7-5); 6-0.

Pablo Perez-Esnaola, Nate Lammons, Mischa Nowicki, and Eduardo Razzeto rounded out SMU's singles lineup, with Ross Peets playing doubles alongside Lammons.

The Mustangs next stop is Fort Myers, Fla. on Saturday for a match with Florida Gulf Coast.
