2007-08 (Sr.): Went 15-4 in singles, with an impressive 11-2 record at No. 5... Only two losses at No. 5 came in the Conference USA Championships and the NCAA tournament... Defeated singles opponents from Texas, Notre Dame, Columbia, Baylor, Memphis, Rice and TCU... Paired with David Kuczer and Alex Skrypko in doubles play to compile a 12-4 record on the season... With Skrypko, recorded a six-match winning streak to close out the regular season... Advanced to the third round of the consolation bracket at the ITA South Central Regionals... Won the consolation bracket of the B Flight singles at the Rice Invitational, beating Dennis Polyakov of Rice for the title... Paired with David Kuczer to win the A Flight Doubles title at the Rice Invitational.

2006-07 (Jr.): Ended the season by winning seven of his last 10 matches... Posted the second-best singles record on the team with a 14-4 record... Played in the middle and bottom of the lineup, but secured most of his wins in the No. 6 spot... Paired with Oivind Alver, David Kuczer and Chris Hooshyar to compile a doubles record of 12-7, mostly at No. 2 and No. 3... Named C-USA Player of the Week 4/17 after his wins over Rice and UTA... Beat Michael Dierberger of Wisconsin to help the Mustangs upset the Badgers, 5-2.

2005-06 (So.): Did not see playing time.

2004-05 (Fr.): Had solid freshman season... 6-3 overall record in singles... Saw most of his action at the No. 6 spot, going 6-2... Went 2-0 overall in doubles matches.

2003-04: Redshirted

Personal: Chose SMU for its strong academics and outstanding tennis program... Majoring in finance while at SMU... A native of Mexico City.
