Two Mustangs Place In Top Five At USA Diving National Championship Event

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (SMU) - The SMU diving team had an impressive day at the USA Diving National Championships today as Bryce Klein and Devin Burnett both turned in fine performances in the one-meter finals. 

Klein, a sophomore, collected the Bronze medal with a score of 415.95.  Klein is also competing in the three-meter and three-meter synchronized events.  Yesterday, he qualified for the finals in the synchronized event with partner Bradley Christensen of Stanford. 

Burnett, a senior, finished fifth with a score of 376.10.  In addition to the one-meter dive, Burnett will also compete in the three-meter and platform events. 

Klein and Burnett will return to the pool tomorrow for the three-meter event.
