DALLAS (SMU/CSCAA) - The SMU men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named Spring 2012 Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the organization announced this week.

The Team Scholar All-American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams that have achieved a cumulative grade point averages of 3.0 or higher.

The SMU men posted a team GPA of 3.19, while the women scored a 3.29.
