Larsson Takes Second In 100-yard Butterfly At The Classic At SMU

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU men's swimmer David Larsson earned runner-up honors in the 100-yard butterfly, posting a time of 47.85, during day one of competition in The Classic @ SMU at Perkins Natatorium.
Top-ranked Michigan leads the highly-competitive Classic with 166 points. No. 5 USC is a close second (162 points) followed by No. 7 Florida (153). No. 16 Louisville is fourth (125), Purdue is fifth (116) and SMU is sixth (115).
Senior captain Mindaugas Sadauskas placed third in the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall with a time of 49.09.
Diver Devin Burnett continued his strong sophomore campaign with a third-place finish in the one-meter dive, totaling 308.65 points.
Competition resumes tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at Perkins Natatorium located on the SMU campus.
