Klein, Burnett Place Fifth And Seventh in 1-Meter Dive at NCAA Zone Diving Qualifications

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (SMU) - SMU freshman Bryce Klein and junior Devin Burnett finished fifth and seventh in the 1-meter dive on Tuesday at the NCAA Zone D Diving Qualifications. Klein and Burnett notched average round scores of 62.95 and 60.7, respectively, to advance. The NCAA Zone D Diving is hosted by the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
In addition, junior Hayden Hodges recorded an average round score of 56.84 to finish 15th.
Qualifying Mustang swimmers and divers will be back in action when SMU heads to Austin, Texas from March 27-29 to compete in the NCAA Championships.
