"I have decided to resign as head coach of the SMU men's golf team effective immediately. This was a difficult decision, but one I feel is in my best interest and is in the best interest of the program. I will miss our student-athletes, and I know they understand how important they are to me. As a coach and an alumnus, I appreciate the support our program has received in my three years here. In time, I may wish to speak more on this, but now, I would ask that everyone respect my decision and my privacy. I wish SMU and its golf program nothing but the best." - Josh Gregory

"After meeting with Josh Gregory this morning, I accepted his resignation. Jason Enloe, a proud SMU graduate and former golf professional, has been named Head Coach. Jason has contributed greatly to our success the past three years; and we are confident in his ability to guide, encourage and support our student-athletes during this time of transition. We expect our men's golf program to continue its growth under Jason's leadership." - Rick Hart, SMU Director of Athletics

"I'm honored to have this opportunity. I wish Coach Gregory the best and I look forward to leading the program and building upon the success we have had over the past three years." - Jason Enloe, SMU Head Men's Golf Coach
