NORMAN, Okla. (GCAA/SMU) - The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars and two SMU standouts made the cut, the GCAA announced on Wednesday.

Max Buckley and Matt Schovee both qualified by competing in at least 70 percent of the team's rounds, averaging a stroke-average of 76 or better, and maintaining at least a 3.2 GPA.

The accomplishments keep piling on for Schovee, who recently qualified for the US Amateur Championships at Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colo., also earned PING All-Region and Honorable Mention All-American honors for his performance on the course this past season.

Buckley also earned a spot in the US Amateur Championships field.
