BANDON, Ore. (SMU) - The SMU Mustangs are tied for fifth after the second day at the Bandon Dunes Classic. Senior Mario Clemens holed an eagle on his way to a three-under par second round.

Clemens jumped from 54th to 14th after the second round. Clemens eagled the par-five fourth hole and also tallied three birdies against just two bogeys. Harry Higgs was the clubhouse leader after Friday, but struggled on Saturday and fell out of the top spot.

Colorado holds a six-stroke lead over second-place San Jose State. The Mustangs are six strokes back of the Trojans and the runner-up spot.
