2007-08: Named second-team All-Conference USA... A C-USA Golfer of the Week (Oct. 17)... Took third at the OU Intercollegiate, shooting 77-68-73... Closed out the fall with another third-place showing, carding a 70-66-69 at the UTSA Invitational... Rounded out the season with strong showings at the C-USA Championships, where he was eighth, and The Maxwell, where he took sixth... Had top-10 finishes at the Purdue/Midwest Shootout and the Windon Memorial and top-20 showings at the John Burns Intercollegiate and the Shocker Classic... Was 87th at the NCAA Regionals;
2006-07: Played eight varsity rounds, competing at Pinehurst, the Robert Kepling Invite and The Maxwell... Best finish was 25 at The Maxwell, where he shot 69-68-75... Finished the year with a 76.25 stroke average;
Prep: Attended Lincoln East High School where he was a three-year letterwinner... Was named an All-State selection... Named an honorable mention AJGA All-American in 2005... Won the Nebraska state title as a junior with a 6-under 138 total and finished as runner-up during his senior season after carding rounds of 67 and 69... Finished fourth as a sophomore... His 136 total in 2005 tie for the second-lowest 36-hole total in the history of the Nebraska state championship... Carded rounds of 66 in both 2003 and 2004, tying him for the lowest round the history of the tournament... Competed for his home state in the Kansas-Nebraska Junior Cup matches... Carded rounds of 77 and 72 during the stroke play portion of the 2004 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship to advance to match play... Lost 2-and-1 in the first round of match play to Mark Silvers.
