2014 - Summer: Selected to represent USA at the World Amateur Team Championships... Advanced to the round of 16 at the 2014 U.S. Amateur...Advanced to the quarterfinals of match play at the U.S. Amateur Public Links... Advanced to the round of 16 at the Western Amateur after tying for second in the stroke play portion of the tournament... Missed qualifying for the U.S. Open by just two strokes at the qualifying event inColumbus, Ohio... Represented the United States at the 2014 Palmer Cup in England, winning one singles match and teaming with Stewart Jolly of LSU to win their opening doubles match.

2013-14 (So.): Won his match against Alabama's Trey Mullinax in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships... Tied for ninth during stroke play at the NCAA Championships, posting three rounds of 69 (-1)... Tied for seventh at the NCAA San Antonio Regional, including a first round 67 (-5)... Won his first collegiate tournament by taking medalist honors at the American Athletic Conference Championships... Tied for fifth at the Valspar Collegiate at -5... Posted a runner-up finish at the National Invitational Tournament in Arizona at -8... Finished in the top five in all four tournaments in the fall... Had 16 rounds of par or better... Tied for third at the Don Puckette NIT... Tied for fourth at The Duck Invitational... Placed fifth in his first-career event at The Gopher Invitational... Prior to SMU: Advanced to the match-play playoff portion of the 2012 U.S. Amateur in Cherry Hills Village, Colo., after shooting 1-under over the two days of stroke play... Shot a 32 on the back-nine of the Callaway Junior Worlds to take second in that tournament... Won the 2010 California State Junior Championship... Received numerous academic honors in high school... Also lettered in volleyball.
