DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU Mustangs head to Annapolis this weekend to take on Navy in their final non-conference game of 2010. At 4-2, SMU is off to its best start since 1986 and is looking to snap a 19-game non-conference road losing streak. SMU's last non-league road win came on Nov. 21, 1998, coincidentally at Navy, with the Mustangs prevailing 24-11.

The Mustangs and the Mids are meeting for the 15th time, with the series all square at 7-7. The Mustangs have struggled against the Midshipmen in recent years, though, going just 1-6 against Navy in meetings since 1995. The squads are battling for the Gansz Trophy, which was created in 2009 to honor late coaching legend Frank Gansz, who coached at SMU and coached and played at Navy.

CBS College will televise the game live nationally. Craig Bolerjack (PBP), Randy Cross (analyst) and Kaylee Hartung (sideline) will have the call. Rich Phillips (PBP) and John Hampton (analyst) will also call the action on the Mustang Radio Network. This week's game will air on The Ticket 1310 AM/104.1 FM in Dallas. The pregame will begin at 3 p.m. CT.
