SMU Opens 'The Corral' On The Boulevard
DALLAS (SMU) - SMU's Boulevard, chosen by Southern Living as one of the South's top tailgates, is adding a new attraction in 2012 - The Corral. The new area will provide sports fans a place to catch all the college football action before heading into Ford Stadium to see the Mustangs.
The Corral, an air-conditioned tent on the main quad at the north end of Bishop Boulevard, will feature ten 52" HDTVs where fans can watch games from around the country. Food and drink will be available as well, making The Corral THE place to be on home football Saturdays on the Hilltop.
The Corral will be open to any fan with a game ticket and will be a great place to pregame with friends before heading into the game.
The Corral will open its doors at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, and operate until 6:30 p.m., closing just in time for fans to make the march to Ford for SMU's 7 p.m. game against SFA.
The game has been designated a "WHITE OUT", so fans attending the game are asked to wear white to show support for the Mustangs.
