American Prepares For Successful Future Following Productive Summer Kickoff


DALLAS (SMU/AAC) - Coaches and players from the 11 American Athletic Conference schools including SMU's June Jones, Stephon Sanders and Kevin Pope will converge on the Hyatt Regency in Newport, R.I., July 29 for the league's Summer Kickoff and Media Day, and fans will be able to follow all of the day's events through a broad range of digital coverage, including a live show on ESPN3.

Throughout the day, SMU fans can tweet questions to @SMU_Football and Coach Jones and the players will answer the best ones. The official Twitter hashtag for event will be #AmericanKickoff. Fans can use that hashtag to submit questions to be asked of any of the head coaches during the live show.
