SMU To Open Final Spring Football Practice To Fans

DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU Mustangs are inviting fans to come watch the team’s final spring practice session on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at the Pettus Practice Field, located west of Ford Stadium.
The practice is scheduled to go from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. SMU legends Chris Banjo, Ja’Gared Davis, Margus Hunt, Jerry LeVias, Sterling Moore, Dave Richards and Mike Richardson will all be in attendance and will be available to sign autographs starting at 10 a.m. in front of Gate 1 at Ford Stadium. Current juniors and seniors will also be available to sign autographs at the conclusion of practice. Fans are encouraged to bring any item (maximum of two per person) for the former players to sign, but current student athletes can only sign the 2014 football schedule posters that will be provided for free.
Parking for the event will be available in Meadows Garage, which is located just north of the Pettus Practice Field.
SMU will host six games at Ford Stadium in 2014, including matchups versus Texas A&M and TCU. Conference foes Cincinnati, Memphis, USF and Houston will also visit Dallas next season. Tickets are available by calling the Athletics Department Ticket Office at (214) SMU-GAME (768-4263).
