SMU Hosts NFL Personnel For Pro Day

DALLAS (SMU) - Personnel from 21 NFL teams came to the Hilltop on Wednesday, March 27, for SMU's annual Pro Day, as 12 2012 seniors and four other former Mustangs were evaluated by the 26 scouts on hand.
Torlan Pittman (42 reps), Aaron Davis (34) and Taylor Reed (29) were standouts on the 225-lb. bench press, while Zach Line (4.62) and Davis (4.75 at 291 lbs.) as well as 2011 grad Chris Banjo (4.41) were among the Mustangs that ran great 40s.

Among the visitors to campus was New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan.
The current team returns to Spring Practice on Thursday for their third session of the month.
As part of SMU's Founders' Day Weekend, the Mustangs' final spring practice on April 20th will be open to fans, family, and neighbors of all ages. There will be autographs from current and former players, kids' activities, and other events surrounding practice. Practice and Fan Fair activities will start at 9 a.m. at Pettus Field.
