DALLAS (SMU) - Following a season which saw them win a Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Championship and Conference USA Western Division Co-Championship, the SMU Mustangs will kick off spring practice on Monday, March 29, as the football team begins its preparations for the 2010 season. Head Coach June Jones and his staff will conduct 15 practice sessions over 27 days as they prep for another winning season.

Fans are welcome to come and watch drills, but, for safety reasons, are asked to watch from outside the fence for practices on Pettus and from the stands for workouts held in the stadium. High school coaches are asked to call SMU's Director of High School Relations, Tam Hollingshead, at 214-768-1631 to arrange for field access. All weekday practices will be held at 7 a.m.
