Mustangs Kick Off Spring Practice On March 25th

DALLAS (SMU) - Following a season which saw them earn a fourth straight bowl berth and a Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Championship, the SMU Mustangs will kick off spring practice on Monday, March 25, as the football team begins its preparations for the 2013 season. Head Coach June Jones and his staff will conduct 15 practice sessions as they prep for another winning season.
While the majority of practices are closed to the public, high school coaches are invited to attend. Coaches are asked to call SMU's Director of High School Relations, Tam Hollingshead, at 214-768-1631 to arrange for field access. All weekday practices will be held at 7 a.m.
As part of SMU's Founders' Day Weekend, the Mustangs' final spring practice on April 20th will be open to fans, family, and neighbors of all ages. There will be autographs from current and former players, kids' activities, and other events surrounding practice. Practice and Fan Fair activities will start at 9 a.m. at Pettus Field.
